Once Again God in His infinite way, has come to our family to
claim one ofhis own. He has plucked the wheat that was ready for
harvesting, Lewis Allen Washington.

Lewis as he was lovingly called was the second son of the Late
Willie and Mary Lee Elmore Washington. Lewis took his final
flight Saturday at 10:30 PMin Englewood NJ Lewis was born
December 20, 1947 In Harleyville, sc. He was educated in the
public schools of Dorchester County. He graduated from Jenkins
Hill High School in Harleyville, SC in 1968. At an early age he
joined Elem Missionary Baptist Church in Harleyville SC,
where he attended Sunday School and worship services until he
moved to Englewood, NJ Lewis was dearly loved by his family
and many friends; to know him was to him, was to love him.

He was united in holy wedlock to Jeanette Elizabeth Wright. To
this union three children were born. Lewis was predeceased by
one son Anthony Washington, two brothers Donald Washington
and Willie Jefferson Washington, and one infant sister.

Loving memories will be cherished by his wife Jeanette, Eliza-
beth Washington, four daughters,Mrs. Tosona S. Jamerson of
Dorchester, SC, Ms. Denesha Washington, Shanta Creighton
and Grace West of Englewood,NJ, three sons Mr. Audrine and
Lewis Anthony Washington of Dorchester, SC, and Mr. Terrell-
Wa~hington of Englewood, NJ, three brothers Mr. Willie James
Washington of Harleyville, SC, Mr. Thomas Jefferson Washing-
ton (Phyllis) of Brooklyn, NY, and Mr. Elijah Washington of
Englewood,NJ One sister Barbara Carn of Summerville, SC,
one special Aunt Mrs. Willie Mae Johnson of Harleyville, SC, one
Uncle Mr. George Perry of Harleyville, SC, 2 Brothers in law, 7
sisters in law, 12 grands, 8 great grands and a host nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
