Levi Adams, the son of the late John Adams and Lucille Young was born July 21, 1936, in Harleyville, South Carolina. Levi was affectionately known as "Buck." On Friday, August 2, 2019, his earthly journey ended and our Lord and Savior summoned Levi to eternal rest. In the midst of our sorrow, we rejoice for the many wonderful years we shared together, and we do understand that God is too wise to make any mistakes.
During the early years of his life, he attended Dorchester County Public Schools in Harleyville, South Carolina.
In 1959, he married his first love Clay Francis Adams, of St. George, South Carolina. From this union five children were born. They later relocated to Miami, Florida in 1964. Levi worked in the construction industry and later he successfully became an entrepreneur of Buck's Billiard Entertainment Esquire.
Levi was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Silver Mile Road in Harleyville.
He leaves fond memories to be cherished by his wife, Clay Francis Adams; children, Cendonia Adams, Belinda Adams, Herman Adams, Stephanie Adams, Pristeena Adams, Levy Adams, Kenneth Adams, Alvester Adams, Eboni Preston, Damian, Cedrick all of Miami, Florida, Corey Inabinett (Chiquita) of Louisiana, Torrance Adams and Carrie Adams both of St. Paul, South Carolina, Eleese Sumter of Eutawville, South Carolina, Mer- cedes of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; stepchildren, Flossie Haynes and Charles Haynes both of Miami, Florida, Kimberly Michael (Durrell) of St. Paul, South Carolina; brother, Eddie Adams (Laura) of New Jersey; sisters, Pernell Nesbit (James) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Ella Ruth Shaw of Kingstree, South Carolina, Georgia Adams, Harleyville, South Carolina; brother-in-law, George Bryant; a devoted friend, Zeta Inabinett; a very special nephew, Greg Adams of Lakeland, Florida; 54 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
