Leonta Jayeon Johnson was born November 17, 2008 in St. George, SC, the son of Daveann Washington and Leon Johnson, Jr. God called his Angel home at an early age on October 1, 2017 at Orangeburg Regional Medical Center.

He attended Williams Memorial Elementary School in St. George, where he was loved and enjoyed by teachers, classmates, his bus monitor and bus driver. He had a bright spirit that would light up a room. Leonta's personality captured you into a world of love and wittiness that melted your heart with bliss. His way of putting a smile on your face was effortless and something only he could do.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Daveann Washington and Leon Johnson, Jr.; four sisters, Quintina Washington, Barmesha Johnson, Ikeescha Washington and his half-sister, Maria Lawyer; one brother, Vernon Washington, Jr.; grandmother, Rosa Johnson; great grandmother, Thomasine Mack; nieces and nephews, Tai'Shan M. Willis, Javel D. Washington and Da'miya Ramsey; godmother, Sybil Crumm and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
