Mr. Leon Reeves, son of the late Mrs. Emma C. Reeves and the late Mr. Henry Reeves.  Leon Reeves was born on June 24, 1947 in Dorchester County.  He entered eternal rest on November 21, 2023 at Colleton Regional Hospital in Walterboro, South Carolina after a brief illness.    He attended Reevesville School in Reevesville, South Carolina.  He was employed by Dorchester County Public Work in Dorchester County.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife, Patricia A. Reeves, four children, Leon Gable, Jr., Delories, Donald and Cindy Reeves; two sisters, Queen Elizabeth Green and Patricia (David) Sanders; one brother, Joseph Reeves; sisters-in-law, Helen, Debbie, Shirley Fogle all of Mims, Florida, Marie (Edwards) Starkes of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and Barbie A. Moore of Reevesville, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Richard Fogle of Tampa, Florida; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
