Lelangel Scott Holmes was born in Bronx, New York on September 5, 1979 to Queen Holmes and Stanley Scott. He entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2015 in St. George, South Carolina.

Lelangel attended public school in Dorchester County. He worked as a construction worker since the age of 17.

Lelangel better known to his family and friends as Manny and Lango will be best remembered for his zest for life, his sense of humor and for speaking his mind.

Lelangel was preceded in death by his step grandfather, Lloyd Comrie.

Lelangel memories will be forever cherished by his sons, Aquiel Holmes of Walterboro, SC and Prince Holmes of Orangeburg, SC; his mother, Queen Holmes of St. George, SC; his father, Stanley Scott Rivera of New York; his grandmother, Maragret Comrie of St. George, SC; one brother, Nevell (Tiffany) Holmes of Walterboro, SC; one sister, Shaquina Holmes of St. George, SC; two special cousins, Emanuel Holmes and Remell Holmes both of Walterboro, SC; one niece, Neveoh Holmes of Walterboro, SC; two nephews, Zoire Meyers and Tylik Holmes both of Walterboro, SC; mother to his sons, Britney Chilsom of Walterboro, SC and Brordon Tyler of Orangeburg, SC; one aunt, Rosa Lee Berry; a host of other relatives and friends.
