Obituary

Mr. Lawrence Breaker, the son of the late David and Queenie Breaker of St. George, South Carolina was born June 12, 1923 in St. George, South Carolina.

As a young man Lawrence attended Good Hope Baptist Church in St. George, South Carolina. Lawrence and his brothers formed a singing group called the Breakers' Jubilee.

For many years Lawrence worked at Macalloy Steel Company in Charleston, South Carolina. His recreational activities consisted of fishing and hunting.

Lawrence met and married Minnie Walker Breaker of Reevesville, South Carolina, his beloved wife of many years.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his loving daughter, Lorraine Robinson of Moncks Corner, SC; three sons, Jasper (Willia Britt) Breaker of Reevesville, SC, Aaron (Frankie) Walker of Saluda, SC and Phillip (Ruth) Walker of St. George, SC; nine grand children, Monique Hearten, Terrence James, Brandon Breaker, David Breaker, Christopher Breaker, D'Jeny Breaker, Phillip Syphrett, Brian Syphrett and Laquana Syphrett; sixteen great grand children; three sisters-in-law, Georgia Breaker and Evelyn Walker both of NY and Virginia Walker of St. George, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends; Margaret Hallman, Joe Ladson, and Allen Bradley all of St. George, SC. He will be greatly missed by all.
