Mr. Kenneth Donnell Pooser, better known as "Dupie", son of the late Mr. John and Louise Smith Pooser, was born September 26, 1959 in Dorchester, South Carolina. On February 17, 2019 he transitioned from this life to eternal rest after a brief illness at Trident Hospital.  Kenneth was a loving and caring person to those he loved. If there was a person who could make you laugh, Dupie was that person. Kenneth was a member of Greater St. Paul AME Church.

Kenneth had 6 siblings to precede him in death, John Pooser, Mary Pooser, Marion Pooser, Joseph Pooser, Allen Pooser and Dennis Pooser.

Kenneth leaves behind a loving friend, Ms. Tracie Johnson; a daughter, Shy'teria Johnson; three sisters, Eleanor P. Washington of St. George SC, Gretta Brown (Harold) and Viletta Britt of Harleyville, SC;  one sister-in-law, Patty Britt-Pooser of Reevesville, SC along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
