Julia, more often known as Polly, Kelly, beloved friend, and tireless servant of her community. Her life was defined by a deep well of compassion, boundless generosity of spirit, and un unwavering love for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Julia was born August 13, 1954 in Dorchester County, South Carolina, to Cecil and Pearlie Glover Kelly. She was educated in the public schools Orangeburg and Dorchester· Counties. At an early age, she joined the family church of Second Providence Baptist Church. She was employed by Ambler Industries in Orangeburg, SC for many years. Later, she moved to Tabor City, NC.

Julia carried with her a natural warmth that drew people in and made them feel cared for. She poured that same kindness into her role as a grandmother, delighting in every moment, spent reading stories; attending school events, braiding hair and making meals. To her grandchildren, she was a source of comfort, encouragement and unconditional love. Beyond her family, Polly dedicated countless hours of serving her community. She volunteered regularly with local food programs, ensuring that families in need had meals on their tables. Her commitment to supporting food security initiatives reflected her belief that no one should go hungry, and that neighbors must look out for one another. She also gave her time to hospice organizations, offering companionship, and comfort to patients and families during vulnerable and difficult moments. Whether, preparing meals, delivering donations, sitting bedside with hospice patients, or simply making people laugh, Julia, embodied kindness in action. Her combined beliefs in God, service, and love were lived out every day. Polly will be remembered for her generous heart, her unwavering strength, and the legacy of compassion. Her family, friends, and all who bud the privilege of knowing her will carry forward her example of love and service.

Julia was ·preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Pearlie Mae Kelly-Glover; Sister Bertha Lee (Charles) Brown, Diane (George) Green, Betty (Willie) King, Nancy K James, Brothers: Kelly, Willie C Kelly; brother-in-law, William Lee Bowman, son-in-Jaw, Eric Demond Mack; grandchildren, Zachary L. Monestime and Eden Mack.

She leaves to cherish three daughters, Tracey K. Mack of St. George, SC, Judy (Rodney)Houston of Rowesville, SC and Latoshie Kelly of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters: Pearline Bowman of Tabor City, NC, Lula K Reeves of St. George, SC, Mac Alice K. (Legrand) Simon of Orangeburg, SC; Two brothers Leroy (Veronica) Kelly of Tabor City, NC and Johnny C. Kelly of St. George, SC; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and her special little Lily Bowman who she took as a granddaughter, who will forever cherish the imprint she made on their lives.
