Mrs. Joyce Toomer Cumbo, daughter of the late Toursette and Catherine Toomer was born June 27, 1956 in St. George, SC. She passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the arms of the Lord.

Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Toomer.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband of ten years, Charles Cumbo of Brooklyn, NY; one son, Sean Toomer of Valley Stream, NY; three brothers, Charles (Sara) Toomer and Allen Toomer both of Columbia, SC, and Bernard (Barbara) Toomer of St. George, SC ; four sisters, Emma Mae Boyd of Cayce, SC, Shirley (Frederick) Cole of Columbia, SC, Betty Rose Toomer of Daytona Beach, FL and Brenda Toomer of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters-in-law, Adrenna Toomer of Houston, TX and Doris Toomer of Daytona Beach, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
