Today, we pause to pay tribute to the loving memories of Mr. Joseph Michael Jefferson born in Pineville, SC.  He was the son of the late Dina Collins Jefferson and Louise (Sonny Boy) Bradley.  Surrounded by his family at his home Joe received his wings and transitioned into the arms of his heavenly father on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

He grew up in Pineville, SC.  He attended the public schools of Berkley County, where he graduated from Cross High School.  After graduation he served his country as a United States Marine.

He was employed with ATS Logistics for many years.

Joseph "Joe" was joined in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Annetha Jefferson on June 18, 2016.  They became best friends and inseparable.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Glover and Henry Eaddy; his sisters, Barbara Ann Wright and Ida Thomas; and

his brother-in-law, Anthony Bowman.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories his children: Joseph (Joey) Michael Jefferson; children he raised as his own, Antwan Smith, Andrea Smith, Raheam Scott, Wydekia Scott and Elesha Newbold; his siblings, Victoria Mortan of Pineville, SC, Willie (Elizabeth) Bradley, Francis (Yvonne) Bradley, Richard Bradley, Paul (Barbara) Bradley, Diane Bradley Lawrence all of Cross, SC and Jenaris (Stormey) Gillens of Florence, SC; two sisters-in-law, Annette Nixon and Lynette Harper; two brothers-in-law, Antonio Bowman and Sylvester Amaker; grandchildren, Javaiha, Ja'merra, joseph, Tylieah, Tylique, Tyron, Tanyla, Medaan, Major, Kingston, Seraya, Royce, Alyassia, John, Anthony, Karel, Javarius, Ziniah, destiny, Jazime, Josh, Javiann, TJ, Elijah, Kayla, Jailynn and Cam; eight great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
