Joseph Curtis Jamison was born on March 7, 1986 in Bamberg, SC. He was the first-born son of Keith and Cynthia Jamison. Joseph departed this life on March 10, 2025 at Trident Medical Center.

Curtis had a love of family, fashion, culinary arts, and knowledge, all of which he immersed himself in. After graduating from Woodland High School in 2004, he embarked on making his wildest dreams come true. Curtis parlayed his love for fashion into a modeling career, in pursuing this, he gained a love and knowledge for fashion designs. Curtis then attended South Carolina State University where he gained a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Business (Fashion Merchandising). He enjoyed cooking, especially things that were not of our normal southern cuisine; and we all enjoyed it! While in college, he worked his way through school as a sous-chef and other crew with various companies. Before graduation, he obtained a job working on grants and other funding programs at SCSU. When the program ended in 2019, he moved on to gain his certification as a Master Barber at Barber Technical College in Orangeburg, SC. He later went on to work with Mercedes where he gained a passion for learning how the inner designs and computer systems of these cars worked. He went on to work on a traveling crew with Mercadies and on to Rivian.

God called his son home to take his rest and reunite with his baby sister Leonna Ashonti Jamison; Grandparents Romie Jamison Sr, James, and Eva Rasberry; Great Grandparents Elijah and Ollie Sypher and Deacon Joseph and Carrie Jenkins. If Curt knew you, he would do anything for you. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed having fun in everything he did. Wherever life took him, he made it work best for him.

He will be deeply missed by all he has encountered. Curt leaves behind to celebrate his life his parents Deacon Keith R.& Cynthia L. Jamison of Reevesville, SC; brother Antwan L. Jamison, whom he protected at any cost, and nephew whom he helped raised as he was his own Tristan L. Jamison of Reevesville, SC; Grandmother Rosanell Jamison; Romie "Uncle Archie" Jamison; Clarence "Uncle Jeery" Jamison; Brenda Jamison; Christine (Rogers) Rhett, Tony Rasberry all of Reevesville, SC and Shontell "Uncle Shonny" Jamison (Laseandra) "Seanie"; Patsy (Richard) Stephens all of St. George, SC; Minister Lawrence Stevens of Bowman, SC; Barbara Rasberry "Aunt Bobbie" of Trenton, NJ. His Godchildren MaKayla Rhett, Knowledge Perkins, and Jacoby Rosch; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other family and friends. Curtis will be tremendously missed. We will cherish the times of joy, laughter, highs and lows. Do not let his light die down as we keep his memory alive.
