Mr. Jonathan Harrison, the son of the late Leafus and Mary Polite, Harrison was born April 13, 1963, in Walterboro, SC.  He departed this life on September 3, 2023, in Marietta, GA.

As a youth he joined the Revival Faith Center, under the leadership of the late Andy Ferguson, Sr. He was educated in the Colleton County School District where he ran track and played football. He worked as a landscaper as long as we can remember.  He knew how to make your yard look good.

Jonathan loved his family and friends.  He was very kindhearted and never met a stranger.  If there were someone in need, he would go out of his way to give a helping hand.  If someone was hungry, he would give up his food.  Joe would give the clothes off his back, that's just the type of person he was.  He had lots of acts of kindness.  Whenever you talked to Joe, he would always end the conversation with "I love you, peace."  Joe loved children; he was a kindhearted respectful young man.

Jonathan had two brothers to precede him in death Leonard J. Harrison and Antonio L. Harrison.

Williams (Jerome), Walterboro, SC, and Wynelle Harrison, Walterboro, SC;   Four nephews, Timothy Harrison, Walterboro, SC, Jerome "Andre" Williams (Nakita), Aiken, SC, Cedric Williams, Lithonia, GA, and Robert "Bobby" Chisolm, Jr. Raleigh, NC;  Three nieces, Latonya Harrison, Marrietta, GA, Kimberly Ferguson-Jones (Calvin), San Diego, CA, and Laquana Chisolm, Raleigh, NC;  Great nieces and nephews, Dante Roberts, Ty'Shon, Ny'Twaun, and Gabrielle Murray, Keshawn Jones, Kyleigh Williams, Matthew Phair, Jr., Kamya Jones, Kelsey Williams, and Cedric Williams, Jr; Two Aunts, Ruth Ann Shider (O'Harold) and Geraldine Basset;  Two uncles, Stanley Polite, and Reverend Prince Polite (Samuela);  One God-daughter, Destiny Brown and one God-son Tyler Jonathan Carlton.  His honorary Atlanta family Azalea Smith, her children and grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith, Kellie Wright, Syniah, Taylor, Skyler, Ryan and Lucas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A special thanks to Teresa Reels who was Joe's home-care nurse for five years.  Joe gave her the name Testify.  She was a blessing to our family.
