Johnnie Lee Grant, the son of Tommie Lee Grant and the late Josephine (Holman) Grant was born May 31, 1950.  He departed this physical life on Friday, February 28, 2020.

Johnnie attended the public schools in Holly Hill, SC.  Johnnie furthered his education with a trade in mechanical engineering then later became a flooring installer for over thirty years.

Johnnie attended the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in his early age.  He later joined Briner Christian Church where he served as the secretary for the Men's Department and sung on the male chorus.  He later became a member of Horizon Ministries until his demise.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his mother.

He leaves his loving wife of 38 years to cherish his memories, Janet Grant; seven siblings, Robert (Barbara) Grant of Summerville, SC, Nathanie (Ophelia) Grant of Holly Hill, SC, Tommie (Robin) Grant of Summerville, SC, Joann (Kenneth) Jackson of Macon, GA, Clara (George) Martin and Rose Marie Hamrick both of Summerville, SC and Donna Grant of Ladson, SC; children, Johnique (Henry) Watson of Goose Creek, SC, Lutricia (Allen) Johnson of Goose Creek, SC, Eric (Thomesina) Rushing of Orlando, FL, Craig (Victoria) Morton of Columbia, SC, Deon Mack, Emily Brown, Sue Sue Davis and Janet Cox all of Louisiana; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
