Johnnie Bee Britt was born on December 12, 1959,
in Branchville, South Carolina to the late John Willie Wesley
Britt and Mrs. Irene Britt. He was called home on Saturday,
December 6, 2014, at Trident Hospital after an extended ill-
ness.

Johnnie was a 1979 graduate of St. George High School. He
was a member of Jericho Baptist Church in Reevesville,
South Carolina. He worked for Dorchester County Water and
Sewer Department for 23 years as a water tech. He retired in
April, 2011. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle,
granddaddy and friend. He was a good friend to many.

He was united in holy matrimony on November 26, 1989, to
the love of his life, Villa Shuler. This union was blessed with
three wonderful sons: Johnathan, Jeremy and Antowine.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted
wife, Villa S. Britt of the home; three sons, Johnathan Britt,
Jeremy Britt and Antowine Britt of the home; his mother,
Irene Britt of St. George, SC; seven sisters, Ilene (Alfred)
Ross, Lizzie Green, Linda Campbell, Willie Mae Britt all of
St. George, SC, Annie (Curtis) Reeves, Christine (David)
Syphrett and Ida (Jermiah) Dacus all of Reevesville, SC; two
brothers, Willie James (Rena) Britt of Augusta, GA and
Robert (Patricia) Britt of Reevesville, SC; one brother-in-law,
Larry (Melissa) Shuler of Titusville, FL and one sister-in-law,
Patricia Shuler of Jacksonville, FL; two uncles, Robert
(Nancy) Rasberry of Columbia, SC and Roosevelt Rasberry
of Branchville, SC; one aunt, Emma Rhett of Columbia, SC;
two grandchildren, Anania Martino and Madisyn Britt; and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
