John McCormick Glover passed peacefully from this life the 11th of January 2013. He was the son of the late Thelma Glover (Ernest) Cummings and John (Beverly) Berry of Bowman, SC.

John attended the public schools of Dorchester County. He was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.

John leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife, Wanda Diane Glover of North Carolina; one son, Lindwood DeVon (Malia) Langley of Fort Washington, Maryland; one granddaughter, Lyniah Mayrie Langley; four sisters, Dorene (Gerald) Cummings and Loretta (Roger) Glover of the home, Ernestine (Ardie) Cummings of Summerville, South Carolina and Patricia Carn of Reevesville, South Carolina; six brothers, McCoy Glove, Ernest Lee, Floyd Cummings, Arthur (Inga) Cummings, Tony Glover and Eugene Barnwell all of St. George, South Carolina; four aunts, Avon King of Maryland, Nellie Ruth Glover and Maggie Glover both of Bowman, South Carolina and Martha Clarine Glover of Maryland; one great aunt, Minnie (Margin) Breaker of Bowman, South Carolina; five uncles, Virgil Lee (Rosa Mae) Glover, Willie C. (Mattie Deloris) Glover and Howard Lee (Gertrude) Glover all of St. George, South Carolina, James Willis Glover of Clearwater, Florida and Furman Berry of Passaic, New Jersey; two devoted cousins, Louis Kitt and Dora Lee Cummings both of St. George, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
