Jason Jahmar Washington, was born January 25, 1981 to Daisy Washington and Thomas Lewis Pelzer.  He was called to rest on August 22, 2022.  He spent his last days at Agape Hospice House in Summerville, South Carolina.

Jason was a former member of Bethel AME Church in St. George, South Carolina.  He was educated in the Dorchester County School System.  He worked for Smooth Move Moving Company for many years.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jessie (Thelma) Washington, Fannie Govan and Hill Pelzer and his Uncle Morris Mack.

He leave to cherish his memories: his wife, Salita Cain; five children, Jaiden, Sadiyah, Ja'Myeal, Skylar and Sa'Myrah Washington; his mother, Daisy Washington; his father, Thomas Lewis Pelzer; eight aunts, Shemonlesia Rice, Elois (Arthur) Cobbs, Margarde Simon, Debra Cobbs, Rita Fogle, Earlease (Cleveland) Ray, Annette (Eddie) Owens and Marie Ling; godmother, Libby Smith; two uncles, Harold and Jessie Washington; mother-in-law, Barbara (Wilmar) Cain; three sisters-in-law, Priscilla Cain, Cebraziah Williams and Tiana Turnage; two special brothers, MacArthur Lewis and Kendell Johnson; a host of cousins, other family and friends.
