Jaquan Hasson Mack entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2026. He was born on July 26, 1988, to Mrs. Ermadine Mack and the late Larry Mack. During his 37 years of life, Jaquan touched countless lives through his kindness, unwavering character, infectious smile, and genuine love for family, friends, and his community.

At an early age he joined Shady Grove United Methodist Church in St. George, South Carolina. There, he faithfully participated in the Children and Youth Choirs.

Jaquan was a proud 2006 Honor Graduate of Bethune-Bowman High School, where he excelled in the classroom and on the athletic field. He was a standout athlete who proudly represented his school in basketball, baseball, and football. His love for sports was matched by his commitment to his faith as an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

His exceptional talent on the baseball diamond earned him a baseball scholarship to Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina. Baseball was more than a game to Jaquan— it was one of his greatest passions. Whether competing, practicing, or encouraging others, the field was where he felt most at home.

Above all, Jaquan treasured being a father. His greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his beloved daughter, Ja'Niya Harmoni Mack, who is truly the "apple of his eye." There was nothing he wouldn't do for her, and his love for her knew no limits. He loved Ja'Niya with every fiber of his being and found immense happiness in watching her grow. Whether they were sharing laughter, creating memories, or simply spending time together, Jaquan cherished every moment they shared.

For the past nine years, Jaquan was a dedicated employee of Nexans High Voltage USA, Inc., in Charleston, South Carolina. He genuinely enjoyed his work and was admired by his coworkers for his dependability, strong work ethic, and positive spirit. He approached every responsibility with excellence and took great pride in being a valued member of his team.

Outside of work, Jaquan continued to pursue his love of baseball throughout the community. He was an active member of the Bowman A's Softball Team and cherished every opportunity to play the sport he loved alongside friends who became family.

Jaquan will be remembered not only for his athletic ability but also for the man he was. He had a beautiful personality that naturally drew people to him. He was a thoughtful, intelligent, and sharp thinker who approached life with confidence and wisdom. He carried himself with class and was known as a sharp dresser, always looking his best with effortless style. Whether sharing a laugh, offering advice, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, Jaquan had a way of making others feel valued and welcomed. His warm smile, generous heart, and quiet strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Jaquan was preceded in death by his father Larry Mack; his maternal grandmother, Ella Mae Williams; his grandfather John Edward Mack, Sr.; and his uncles, John Edward Mack, Jr. and Curtis Mack.

Jaquan leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving mother, Ermadine Mack of Bowman, South Carolina; his beloved daughter, Ja'Niya Harmoni Mack of Orangeburg, South Carolina; his siblings, Lavonne Johnson and Troy (Tammie) Johnson, both of Summerville, South Carolina, and Dontia Mack of Bowman, South Carolina; his grandmother, Ella Mack of Holly Hill, South Carolina; his aunts, Barbara Johnson of Newberry, Florida, Shirley Johnson of St. George, South Carolina, Betty Williams, Joe Ann Davis, and Marlyn Fogle, all of Bowman, South Carolina, Lessie Goodwin and Telissia Mack of Holly Hill, South Carolina, and Cynthia Ashby of Orangeburg, South Carolina; his uncles, Roger Johnson and Dequincy (Juanita) Williams, both of St. George, South Carolina, Leroy Williams of Summerville, South Carolina, and Walter Lee Myers of Vance, South Carolina; his cherished nieces and nephews, Aniya Hutto, Jaleel Johnson, Jamari Johnson, Byron Miller, D'Monei Mack, and Aiyanna Mack; along with a host of cousins, other relatives, dear friends, teammates, coworkers, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing him.
