Mrs. Jannie Bell Adams -Bryant, daughter of the late Mr. John Quincy & Mrs. Lucille Young Adams was born November 22, 1934 in Harleyville, South Carolina.  She attended the public schools of Dorchester County.

At an early age she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Jannie leaves to cherish fond memories:  a loving husband, George Bryant; five daughters and two sons, Abigale Thurston of Harleyville, SC, Matilda Woods of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ludrean Bryant of Goose Creek, SC, Ivory Dingle of Summerville, SC, Georgia (Jimmy Cook) of Bryon, GA, Ronnie Bryant of Goose Creek, SC and Donnie Bryant of Ladson, SC; adopted son, Bernie Geddis (Bambi) of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Mrs. Pernell (James) Nesbit of Myrtle Beach, SC, Georgia Adams of Harleyville, SC and Ella R. Shaw of Kingstree, SC; four brothers, two preceded her in death: Levi Adams of Harleyville, SC, Eddie (Laura) Adams of East Orange, NJ, the late John P. Adams, Jr., Harleyville, SC and the late Grady Adams, Harleyville, SC; four sisters-in-law, Clay Frances Adams of Miami, FL, Caroline Brown of Walterboro, SC, Alice Adams of Harleyville, SC and the late Mattie Neals, Harleyville, SC; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
