Mr. James Oscar Williams, the son of the late Vivian Grant Williams was born on June 22, 1947 in Dorchester County. He departed this life on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home in Reevesville, South Carolina.

James joins his sister, Gladys Williams and daughter, Shirley Williams in Heaven.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: six sons, Daniel (Eunice) Peppers of Columbia, SC, James Curtis (BJ) Williams of Orangeburg, SC, Daniel (Julia) Williams of Bowman, SC, Anthony (Danita) Williams and David Williams both of Rowesville, SC and Christopher James Williams; seven daughters, Lori (Patrick) Seabrooks of Branchville, SC, Nancy (Eric) Phillips of Orangeburg, SC, Lutricia (Christopher) Livingston of Orangeburg, SC, Jennifer (Troy) Williams of Moncks Corner, SC, Anjanetta (Jared) Kimbler of Moncks Corner, SC and Charmaine Cobbs of St. George, SC; one sister, Lillie Ruth Nelson of St. George, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends, Leon Reeves, Keith Brown, Cynthia Brown, Donald Reeves, Cindy Cooper and Nathaniel Davis.
