Mr. James Daniel was born April 25, 1939 in Union Point, Georgia to the late Mrs. Cora Mae Daniel Williams and raised by the late Mary Johnson.
James was employed by the HA Lumber Company of Brooklyn, New York for thirty-seven years. He was married to Annie Ruth Massard and to this union they had seven children. Upon moving back to South Carolina, he joined Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was a faithful member as he accepted God as his savior. He was a member of the JBC Brotherhood and served faithfully until his death.
James was preceded in death by one son, Demetrius Daniel.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Annie Ruth Massard Daniel; two daughters, Lisa Daniel of Queens, New York and Dawn Marie Daniel of the home; four sons, Lamont (Susan) Daniel and James Anthony Daniel both of Brooklyn, New York, Anthony (Chandal) Daniel of New Jersey and Marcus Daniel of the home; three sisters, Lita Lorene Kerr of Chicago, Illinois, Mary Inez Redd of Greensboro, Georgia and Jennie William of Union Point, Georgia; one brother, Charles Williams of Union Point, Georgia; one uncle, Rufus "Plump" (Ethel) Johnson; six grandchildren, Eric Daniel, Dhakkiyya Daniel, Kristopher Daniel, Dimitri Daniel, Breonna Smith and Kayvonna Daniel; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
