Mr. Isaiah Jeremiah Robinson, Sr. "Slim" was summoned to his calling on Tuesday morning Marach 8, 2011. The oldest of three siblings, Isaiah was born in St. Vincent & The Grenadines Island on April 30, 1943, to Rhoda Robinson and the Late John Robinson.
Slim was married to Jestine Martino. To this union, they were blessed with three sons.
He was educated in the public schools in St. Vincent and The Grenadines Island. Isaiah worked for a number of years in New York as a laborer. He had his own business laying foundations in Florida. Slim also worked at Dorchester County School District Four. Later, he worked at South Carolina State University in the Facilities Management Division. After a few years, he began working at Claflin University where he retired but continued working.
Slim was preceded in death by his fater and Amy Robinson.
He leaves to mourn his mother; his wife, Jestine Robinson of St. George, SC; a daughter, Stephanie Brooks and a son-in-law, Reginald Brooks of Orlando, FL; Alex Robinson of Titusville, FL, LaDrena G. Robinson of Decatur, GA; Isaiah Robinson, Jr. and Shannon Robinson of Madison, FL; Jeremy Robinson, Ronald Martino and Kyle Martino of St. George, SC; In-Laws, Earnestine & John Felder of Bowman, SC; Christina & Robert Broomfield of Charleston, SC. He also leaves to mourn 13 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends and special friends Sammie Brown, Luder Brown, Oscar Edwards.
