A Time to Be Born…

Sister Inez Marie Brown Haynes answered God's call from labor to reward at 4:20 p.m. on December 10, 2018. She was born January 3, 1954, the ninth child of sixteen children to the Late Mr. Wilson Brown and the Late Mrs. Willie Bell Scott Brown in Berkley County in Cross, SC. Five siblings precede her in death: Mrs. Mildred Johnson (James-Deceased), Mr. Calvin Brown (Deloris), Mr. William Brown (Gracie), Mr. Joseph Brown (Quinnie), and Mr. Roger Brown.

A Time to Gather Stones…

Inez attended the House of God Church from a baby where she later joined as a youth under the Leadership of the Late Elder George H. Wright.  She received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost while playing church with friends.  She served faithfully in the church as an Anointed Devotional Leader. She also served untiringly as a dedicated Young Adult Choir Member which now is known as the Gospel Choir. Sister Haynes had a special love for people and went about her Father's Business doing Missionary work diligently as the Lord lead her by calling and visiting the sick, praying with and for them as well as giving donations for whatever was needed.

A Time to Get…

Inez was reared in Harleyville in the Brown Loop Community.  She attended and graduated from Harleyville-Ridgeville High in 1973.  Inez was a lifelong learner gained a lot of experience as well as share much wisdom in many capacities.  She was employed for many years with the Coastal Center and the Dorchester County Disability Special Needs Board.  She will always be remembered as a friendly person with a kind spirit, gentle smile, and infectious laugh.

A Time to Love…

Inez met the love of her life, Mr. Bernard Haynes.  They were joined in Holy Matrimony on April 29, 2000. Through this union a uniquely and blessed family was formed: Alvin, Yolanda, and Bernard Terrill.  This union was also blessed with six grandchildren: Cailyn, Isaiah, Isabella Rose, Martikis, Al'Laysia, and Krystopher which she dearly loved and adored.

A Time to Cherish…

Although she is gone and not among us, she will never be forgotten.  Her loving, precious, and joyous life will always be cherished by her devoted husband of 18 years, Mr. Bernard Haynes of Dorchester, SC; one daughter, Trial Elder Yolanda Davis (Rev. Ivery) of Florence, SC; two sons, Mr. Alvin Brown (Tia) of Jacksonville, FL, and Mr. Bernard Terrill of Dorchester, SC; two adopted daughters: Roslyn of Holly Hill, SC, and Pam of Vance, SC; seven sisters: Mrs. Arlene Perry (George-Deceased) of Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Marilyn Neal (Richard-Deceased), Mrs. Ruth Ann Little (Kirby-Deceased), Mrs. Sarah Smith ( Rev. John), and Mrs. Christine Owens (Herbert) all of Harleyville, SC; Mrs. Cynthia Morris (Anthony) of Summerville, SC, and Ms. Janice Brown of North Charleston, SC; three brothers: Mr. Ralph Brown (Mary) of Dorchester, SC, Mr. Woodrow Brown of Harleyville, SC, and Mr. Roscoe Brown of Charlotte, NC; four sisters-in-law: Ms. Jannie Haynes and Ms. Elsie Baythrope both of Orange, NJ, Ms. Lillie Robinson and Ms. Albertha Fleming both of Miami, FL; three brothers-in-law: Mr. Isac Haynes (Peggy) and Mr. Leroy Haynes (Rose Lee-Deceased) both of Summerville, SC, and Mr. Joe Nathan Haynes (Estelle-Deceased) of Fairbanks, AK, a special aunt: Ms. Christine Cherry of St. George, SC; best friend: Ms. Margiree Mack of Vance, SC; a special friend of the family, Mr. Lester Davis of St. George, SC, a host of loving nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives; as well as loving and supportive friends of the DaVita Dialysis Center.
