On March 4, 1960 Mr. Harry T. Britt, Jr. was born to the late Ms. Virginia S. Britt and Mr. Harry Britt, Sr. On Monday, March 13, 2017 Harry was summoned by God Heavenly Angels. Harry grew up in St. George in the Quaker Road Community. Harry was affectionately known as "Jabo" to his family and friends. He attended the Public Schools of Dorchester County. He was a graduate of St. George High School.

Harry was a lifelong member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in St. George, SC where he was a former Trustee Member.

Harry was employed by Louis Tree Service for twenty seven years, as a foreman. He was a loyal and faithful worker.

On August 13, 1983 Harry met the love of his life Minnie Gardner. On April 28, 2001 Harry and Minnie were joined as one. Their union was blessed with three children.

Harry was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Mr. Wilma Gardner.

Harry leaves beautiful and precious memories to his loving and dedicated wife of thirty-three years, Mrs. Minnie G. Britt of the home; one loving daughter, Miss Tea'ceshia Britt of St. George, SC; two loyal sons, Mr. Shaheem Gardner and Mr. Harry Britt, III of the home; three loving sisters, Miss Wilerma Britt, Mrs. Verberlyn Berry both of St. George, SC and Miss Evelyn Britt of Irmo, SC; two dedicated brothers, Mr. Michael (Lynette) Britt of St. George, SC and Mr. Leroy (Lorraine) Britt of Goose Creek, SC; the joy of his life his three grandchildren, Imani, Iyanan and Shamar; a loving and caring mother-in-law, Mrs. Daisy (Rudolph) Stephens of St. George, SC; three loving sisters-in-law, Ms. Helen Gardner, Ms. Vida Gardner both of Harleyville, SC and Ms. Sandra Gardner of St. George, SC; two brothers-in-law, Mr. Edward (Floretha) Lemon of Maryland and Furman (Evone) Gardner of Bowman, SC; two uncles, Mr. John (Corrine) Britt of St. George, SC and Mr. Ray (Lavern) Lemon of Harleyville, SC; eight aunts, Mrs. Alice Britt, Mrs. Lavern Britt and Mrs. Alice Dickey all of St. George, SC, Mrs. Neomi Smith and Lillie Lemon both of Oneonta, NY, Mrs. Polly Gardner, Mrs. Molly Simmons and Mrs. Emma Lemon both of all Harleyville, SC; six step brothers-in-law, three step sisters-in-law; two devoted nephews, Mr. Eric (Desiree) Britt and Mr. Darius Williams; a loving niece, Miss Coronda Berry; god son, Little Master Ziyonn Williams; a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
