Obituary

Mr. Harold Green, Jr. the son of the late Harold Green, Sr. and Beatrice Henderson Green, was born on June 2, 1952 in Dorchester County. He entered eternal rest on Friday morning, April, 22, 2016, at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Ashley Tower, in Charleston, SC.

He was known as "Harry Green" to many. He attended the Public schools of Dorchester County. At an early age he began to work with Hambone Farm in Reevesville, SC and he was a hard worker and he worked there until he became ill and could no longer work. He was a member of Jericho Baptist Church.

Harry Green always left an impression on everyone he met. If you met him you would never forget him. He loved to cook, fish, and have people over to his home. No matter the occasion he would always cook for you and feed you. He could prepare a hog like a surgeon. He will truly be missed in the community.

He was joined in holy matrimony to Vivian Reeves on February 2, 1978, and to this union they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, who he called "Boo and Weece". He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Jessie Ruth Rivers, Lizzie Mae Goodwin, and Harriet Green; two brothers Thomas Mickey Green and Thomas "Lee" Green and one niece Charmaine Goodwin.

Harry leaves to cherish his memories his wife Vivian Green; dedicated daughters, Tameka (Tarrus) Johnson of Orangeburg, SC, Bisceglia (Demar) Gilliard of North, SC and Sheyann Green; one son, Damon (Tayrean) Bryant, and six grandchildren. Two sisters Gloria (Thomas) Pelzer and Florinda (Vincent) Britt both of St. George, SC; two brothers Larry Green and William Branch both of St. George, SC; six sisters-in-law, Brenda Green Addison, Jacqualyn Green, Lizzie Green, Bertha Reeves, Cynthia Simmons, and Ruth (Phillip) Walker; two brothers-in-law, David (Christine) Syphrett and Jerimiah (Rose) Reeves. Three children he raised as his own James (Leyvette) Lemon, Jr., Carolyn (Chuckie Lee) Montgomery, Teretha (Robert) Taylor of Titusville, FL. Special friends Larry and Elaine Mack of Titusville, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
