Gregory Desmond Westbury was born November 27, 1976 to Frank and Evelyn Westbury.  He departed this life on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Trident Medical Center.  He was a member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church.  He was baptized at a young age.  He served on the youth usher board and the youth brotherhood ministry.

Gregory graduated from St. George High School in 1997.  While in high school he played basketball and football.  He received his CDL from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg, SC.

Greg loved going fishing and traveling with his family.  He would always say when talking "I'm God's child."

He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Johnson; two brothers, Tommor Westbury and Franklin Westbury.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Chiyono Westbury; daughter, Shaqualla Westbury; son, Keyshon Westbury; grandchildren, Amir, Faithlynn and Zacari; his parents, Frank and Evelyn Westbury of St. George, South Carolina; one sister, Kim Westbury of Greenville, South Carolina; one brother, Carter Westbury of Columbia, South Carolina; mother-in-law, Barbara Johnson of St. George, South Carolina; godparents, Deacon Joseph and Shirley Green; two nieces, Keisha (Stanley) Williams of Harleyville, South Carolina and Precious Westbury of Greenville, South Carolina; one nephew, Braylan McIntyre of Greenville, South Carolina; four great nieces; four great nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
