Gregory Primus was born September 10, 1959 at Kings' County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.  He was the son of the late Deaconess Nellie and Deacon Morrison Lawrence.

Greg was a long-time employee at Woodland High School in Dorchester School District Four.

Greg passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nemie (Lucille) Primus, his parents, Morrison (Nellie) Lawrence and his son, Gregory "Booboo" Primus.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Vanada Augusta Oliviana; grandson, Azai Lennard; sister, Tenna Primus; nieces, Tamekia, Brandy and Chapelle Primus; nephew, Kayden Primus; his aunts, Mary (Clarence) Simmons, Brenda (Frank) Mack, Catherine (Harry) Williams, Jocille Mitchell and Hilda Letman; his uncles, Richard Primus, Heyward (Isabelle) Primus, Howard (Mary) Primus and Rev. Norman Lawrence; longtime friend and caregiver, Tammy Wolfe; many other family and friends.
