Gary Gregory Primus "Plummer" of Jerome Avenue, Bronx, NY entered eternal rest on August 12, 2023. He was born on March 16, 1965 in Manhattan, NY to the late Willie and Mary Alice Primus.

After the death of his parents, he was raised by his amazing uncle and aunt, Paul and Etta Lee Dacus.

He lived in Reevesville, SC for a brief period of his childhood.

He was educated in the Dorchester County public school system.

Gary G. Primus moved back to New York City at the age of 17 to pursue the desires of his heart.

He loved going to the parks in New York City with his nieces and nephews. He loved mentoring them in the park.  He loved making people laugh. He had a heart of gold.  He was sweet, and caring, always willing to help others in any way that he could.

Gary also loved coming home to South Carolina to spend time with his family and friends because it was important to him, just to tell them he loved them.

Gary G. Primus was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Alice Primus and Paul and Etta Lee Dacus; siblings, Mary Etta Dacus, Dewayne Dacus, Eileen Dacus, Jeremiah Dacus, Willie Jr. Perry, Pauline Lewis and Ulysses Perry.

He leaves to cherish his precious and fond memories to his loving sisters Cynthia Primus of Reevesville, SC and Sylvia L. Primus of New York, NY, Rosetta (Louis) Cokley, and Barbara Moore both of Reevesville, SC; one brother, Charles (Liz) Dacus of Manning, SC; one sister-in-law, Ida Mae Dacus; aunts and uncles that played an important role in his life, Racheal Duley of Manhattan, NY, Jessie (Edger) Burke of Long Island, NY, Curtis Perry of St. George, SC and Betty McZorn of Harleyville, SC; Gary Primus had a special spot in his heart for his nieces and nephews whom loved him so much, Shyiesha Primus, Shoatassie Primus, Cyntasia Russell, Robert Primus, Cane and Evander Primus; great nieces and nephews, Caleb Alexander, Adar Alexander, Lily Alexander, Judah Alexander and Torah Alexander; his best friend; a host of other relatives and friends.
