God sent an angel from above and called one of his children home, Franklin Davis, Jr.  the son of the late Frank and Bernice Davis.  He was born October 5, 1957 in Saint George, South Carolina.

He attended St. George High School and was a graduate of the class of 1977.  He furthered his education at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg, SC.

Franklin joined Good Hope Baptist Church.  He sang with the Young Adult Choir.  He worked many years as a security officer, a technician at US CoCoa Mat and lastly a laborer at Limehouse & Sons.

He peacefully took his eternal rest on April 15, 2024 at his home in Harleyville, South Carolina.

Those who will cherish his memories are his wife, Jannie Davis for 40 years, his daughter, Victoria Davis; his only grandchild, Xarah Davis; one brother, Roger (Mary) Davis; three sisters, Jessie Bryant, Mae France Boyd, Norma (Derrick) Moorer all of St. George, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  He will be missed by all who cherished him.
