Eulyses Carson, affectionately called "C-Bird," departed from this life on Monday, September 22, 2025. He was born on June 28, 1948, in St. George, South Carolina to Artemu and Frances Carson. He was the youngest of their six children.

He graduated from William Memorial High School in South Carolina. At the tender age of eighteen he moved to New York. There he met his beautiful wife of 55 years, Miss Barbara Jean Jones. He worked as a phone repairman for Eastern Phones. Then he went on to become an electrician with Local 3 where he retired in 2013.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; two sons, Garrett (Felicia) and Christopher; his daughter-in-law, Edna Reeves; two grandchildren, Christopher and Raevyn (Alexander) Cooper; 9 step-grandchildren; two brothers, Nathaniel (Betty) and Samuel; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Artemus and Frances, his brother John Henry, his sister Pauline and his two stepsons, John and Rick Reeves.
