Mr. Elijah Williams, affectionately known as "Chase" was born on June 4, 1938 to the late Elijah Williams, Sr. and the late Ozella Williams.
He was called into eternal rest as God's angel took his hand on Monday morning, November 21, 2022 after an extended illness.
Mr. Williams attended school in Florida. After graduation he met the love of his life Adline Jamison, they were married and to this union they had one son, Ricky Williams.
Mr. Williams was employed by Manufactories of Branchville, SC and Smoaks, SC, where he retired.
Mr. Williams was a faithful and dedicated member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. He worked tirelessly as a member of the Trustee Board, Senior Usher Board, Brotherhood and Male Chorus. He did his part on keeping the yard kept and working with the Helping Hands Food Bank of Jerusalem.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Adline, son, Ricky and two brothers.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his three granddaughters, Shana, Shurell and Shuntell Williams of Alabama; daughter-in-law, Tonya Williams of Alabama; great grandchildren, Ty'lya, Alex and Tanner; mother-in-law, Rosa Mae Jamison; one brother, Edward Williams of Merritt Island; one sister, Pauline Banks of Merritt Island; six sisters-in-law, Rozena (Clyde) Washington, Mary Ann (Theodore) Britt, Sandra Jamison, Louvern (Robert Lee) Britt, Vanessa Williams and Katherine Williams; four brothers-in-law, Sammie (Shirley) Jamison, Joe Edward (Patricia) Jamison, Gentry (Blondell) Jamison and a special brother-in-law and friend, Leroy Heyward; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
