Mr. Edward Ladson was born May 28, 1948 in St. George, SC. He was the son of the late Walter Ladson, Jr. and Louise Cobbs Ladson. He was the eldest of three siblings. Two of them, Adolph Ladson and J C Ladson preceded him in death.

Edward Ladson departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC after a brief illness.

He grew up in St. George, SC and attended the Public Schools of Dorchester County during his early childhood. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of St. Mark Baptist Church. During his later childhood, he migrated to Philadelphia, PA and graduated from the Public Schools in Philadelphia, PA. He remained there for in excess of 20 years, where he excelled in the Dry Cleaning Industry. After returning to St. George, to care for his ailing father, he continued his career in the Dry Cleaning Industry as an expert presser with Wimberly Cleaners until his retirement.

Edward leaves to cherish his fond memories, his loving aunt, Rosa Wade of St. George, SC, who was like his mother; one uncle, John Herbert Cobbs of St. George, SC; one sister-in-law, Minnie Ladson of Philadelphia, PA; a special friend, Beatrice Hickmon; a special cousin, Sharon V. Britt, as well as a host of many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
