Eddie Owens, affectionately known as "Lucky" was born on September 30, 1957 to the late Bunnie Owens, Jr. and Rosella Owens of Harleyville, South Carolina.

On August 1, 2025 Eddie Owens was summoned by God's Heavenly Angel.

He attended the public schools of Dorchester County.  He was employed with many different employers throughout his life.  Eddie enjoyed fishing and visiting family.

Eddie was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Owens of Dorchester, SC.

Eddie leaves to cherish his fond memories:  his wife Annette Owens of St. George, SC; one son, Jason Owens (April) of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Diamond, Ja'Sonie and Brooklyn Owens all of Summerville, SC; three sisters, Bertha Amaker (James) of Harleyville, SC, Idella Hankerson of Harleyville, SC and Linda Sims of Summerville, SC; one brother, Herbert Owens (Christine) of Harleyville, SC; sister-in-law, Juanita Owens of Dorchester, SC; one uncle, John Smith (Sarah) of Harleyville, SC; one aunt, Josephine Pryor of Ridgeville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sorrowing relatives and dear friends.
