Mrs. Eartha Lee Jamison Martino was born in St. George, South Carolina, on October 15,
1929. Eartha was the daughter of the late Mr. Sam Jamison and Mattie Mae Rivers Jamison.
She departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Colleton Regional Medical Center,
Walterboro, South Carolina.

Eartha attended Williams Memorial High School before moving to New York to help
support her family, where she was employed at the Doll Factory.
Eartha was a lifelong member of St. Luke United Methodist Church where she served
faithfully. She often spoke of how she received Christ in her life. After the merger, Eartha
continue serving God at New Grace until her health decline. Eartha loved her family dearly.
She loved people and anyone she came in contact with.
Eartha words were "Let the Lord fight your battle and don't you worry about it."

Fannie, Mimus, AZ, Joseph, Frank, Ronnie, John Wesley and Willie C. preceded her in
death.

Eartha was married to the late John Herbert Martino, this union was blessed with seven
children.

She leaves to cherish: two devoted daughters, Brenda Martino (Rickey) Harris and Terrell
Martino both of St. George, SC; five sons, Terance (Ann) Martino, Donnie (Sharon)
Martino, and Troy W. Martino all of Brooklyn, NY, Ronnie Martino and Tony Martino both
of St. George, SC; two adoptive daughters, Loretta M. (Clyde) Anderson of Jamaica, NY
and Delores (John) Mitchell of Cleveland, Ohio; six children three whom were raised in the
home, Rod (Tyler, Maija and Kobe) Harris, Trey (Jada) Harris and Tierra Martino all of St.
George, SC, TJ, Tyree and Brandon all of Brooklyn, NY, Jennifer, Monica and Nicki; four
great grandchildren, four sisters, Bernice Cobbs, Ruth Haynes, Mary McCants and Alean
Jamison all of St. George, SC; six sisters-in-law, Rosa Mae Jamison, and Gertrude Martino
both of St. George, SC, Willie Mae Jamison of Dorchester, SC, Mary Martino of
Philadelphia, PA, Bernice Reeves of Trenton, NJ and Rosa Nell Jamison of Reevesville, SC; three brothers-in-law, Walter Jennings
of Summerville, SC, Freddie McCants and Jonathan Lewis of St. George, SC; a beloved and
dedicated cousin, Bernice Rollins and Arnold Lemon; niece Darlene Jamison; nephews
Johnny C. Hayes and Wallace Toomer; a devoted loving family and friend, Fidele Ayssi and
Care Taker, Wanda Brown and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
