Earnestine Almira Tracy-Garvin was born January 16, 1944 in Dorchester County, South Carolina to the late Willie C. Tracy and the late Minnie Tracy. She entered eternal rest on July 29, 2024.

Earnestine was a 1962 graduate of Williams Memorial High School. She was a homemaker.

Earnestine was preceded in death by her brothers Johnny R. Tracy and David Tracy.

Earnestine leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter, LaVerne Garvin of St. George, South Carolina; her sons, Bernard (Anita) Garvin of St. George, South Carolina, Mitchell Garvin of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Tracy Garvin of North Charleston, South Carolina, Norman Keith Garvin of Fairfield, California, and Rudolph Garvin and Randolph Garvin both of Denmark, South Carolina; sisters, Eartha Massard, Dena Green and Mozella Green; brothers, Willie James Tracy of St. George, South Carolina and Earnest Green; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
