Earl Felder was born on January 8, 1958 to the late Aaron Felder, Sr. and the late Margareen Gelzer Burton in New York. Earl was affectionately known to his family as "Pinky".
Earl lived most of his younger years in New York, until his family moved back to South Carolina. Earl lived in the St. Paul Community of Dorchester, SC. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. Earl was a member of Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
Earl attended the public schools in Dorchester County. He was a 1976 graduate of Harleyville-Ridgeville High School.
Earl worked various jobs throughout his life with Dorchester County Public Works being his last job for 16 years. Earl was a huge sports fan. His favorite football team was the Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed watching Monday night Raw Wrestling and his favorite Western, Gun Smoke.
Earl was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Felder, Jr. (Blue) and his sister, Elvira Campbell (Seal).
He leaves loving and fond memories to his six children, Tramon Young, Shakema Young, Taneshia Young, Martin Young, Di'Andjuoa (Button) Hassan Jenkins, Sr. and Tamyia Felder, his baby; sister, Roberta Davis; brother, James Davis; only aunt, Arthur Bell Johnson; thirteen grandchildren; dedicated friend, Sandra Gardner-Elmore; phone buddy, Cindy Berry; special friends, Clinton Simmons (Zooka) and Andrew Washington; a host of cousins and friends.
