On Friday, December 13, 2019 no farewell words were spoken and there was no time to say goodbye…you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.

Dwayne Griffin Bryant was born on October 28, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York.  He was the only child of Eartha Bryant and the late Nathaniel Bryant.  He was educated in the New York Public School System.  He later relocated to South Carolina in 1982.  He graduated from Harleyville-Ridgeville High School in 1983; and then later attended truck driving school which led him to Southern Tank Transportation, where he worked for many years.

On April 12, 1993, Dwayne was joined in holy matrimony to Dee-Dee Michelle Jones. From this union they had three sons and one daughter.  Dwayne also had one son before marriage.

Although he is gone he leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Eartha Lee Bryant of Dorchester; four sons, Tesfa (Jillian) of Summerville, SC, Dwayne, Jr. of Dorchester, SC, Tevin of Dorchester, SC and Travis of Summerville, SC; one daughter, Savannah of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Jordan, Tristian, Tymire, Isabella and Jayceon; a host of beloved aunts and uncles.
