Brother Donald Fogel bid his family and friends a final farewell early Monday morning December 12, 2011 at Roper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina after an extended illness. Donald was born September 19, 1960 in Dorchester, South Carolina, son of the late Gene and Maggie Rosalee Mays Fogel.

He was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County. At an early age he connected himself with Elem Baptist Church where he fellowshipped his entire life.

He was a lover of any outdoor sports especially riding his four wheeler and horseback riding.

He will be forever cherished by his loving family which includes four brothers: Mr. Eugene (Evola) Fogel and Mr. Leroy (Nancy) Fogel of Summerville, South Carolina; Mr. Robert (Ada) Fogel and Mr. William Jerome of Dorchester, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Angelia Gelzer Fogel of Dorchester, South Carolina; four aunts: Mrs. Thelma Ross, Mrs. Annie B. Lary, Ms. Endell Mays all of Dorchester, South Carolina and Mrs. Joyce Mays of Harlyville, South Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
