On Wednesday, October 20, 2010, DeWayne Lamont Dacus was called to his heavenly home. He was born on November 15, 1965 in Titusville, FL to the late Paul and Etta Dacus.
DeWayne attended St. George High School. He owned and operated "Triple D's" Window Tinting Services. He had a passion and love for singing and construction work. "Popcorn" was very loving, jubilant and always left you with a smile and lasting memories.
DeWayne was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Etta Dacus.
He leaves to cherish his precious and fond memories his children, Devonaire, Destiny, Dynasty and Demiracle Williams all of Dorchester, SC, D'Angelo and Salena Dacus of Brooklyn, NY and Sheena Dacus of NY; four faithful sisters, Barbara Moore and Rosetta (Louis) Cokely both of St. George, SC, and Pauline Dacus and Eileen Brown both of Reevesville, SC; Cynthia Primus of Reevesville, SC, Sylvia and Gary Primus of Manhattan, NY; four loved and devoted brothers, Willie Jr. (Margaret) Perry of Tallahassee, FL, Eulyss Perry and Jeremiah (Ida Mae) Dacus both of Reevesville, SC and Charles (Elizabeth) Dacus of Manning, SC; aunts and uncles, Rachel Duley of Manhattan, NY, Jessie (Edgar) Burke of Long Island, NY, Rose (Cliff) Footman of St. George, SC, Kerser (Phillip) Hamilton of Fort Worth, TX, Lyn Dacus of Wilmington, DE, Lendon Dacus of Denmark, SC; two childhood friends whom he adored very much, Mitchel "Greek" Green and Thomas Green, Jr.; a close friend Eric "Biggie" Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews , and special devoted friends.
