Denzell Johnson affectionately known as DJ of 608 Johnson-Horne Rd departed this life peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 27, 2025. He was born September 28, 2004 in Summerville, SC to Corey L. Johnson and Kimberly Goodwin. He was the youngest of three.

Denzell graduated from Woodland High School in 2023. He was an inspiring Chef and loved to cook and was often called "Munchie"! The food that he cooked and often shared with family was always a hit! And not too mention that he was a BIG FAN of the Pittsburgh Steelers!!

Denzell was preceded in death by his grandfather Rev. Lewis C. Mitchell and an aunt, Takeshia "Sheka" Jamison.

Denzell leaves to forever cherish his memories, his mother of the home, Kimberly Goodwin and  his father, Corey L. Johnson (Benetra) of Greenwood, SC; two brothers Ky'Sean Johnson of the home and     Quinton Robinson (Morgan) of Columbia, SC; his grandparents, Mozeal (Clary) Goodwin of Bowman, SC and Sandra Williams of Belton, SC; Five Uncles, Kasen Goodwin, Stephon Goodwin both of Bowman, SC, Keyvin (Erin) Glover of Columbia, SC, Kevin (Lisa) Johnson of Belton, SC and Anthony (Chamir) Johnson of Bennettsville, SC and one aunt, Robin (Rod) Davis of Belton, SC; two godfathers, Michael Utsey of     Orangeburg, SC and Minister Christopher Goodwin of Simpsonville, SC; a special cousin, Jayquon Pelzer, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
