Dennis Sanders passed away on Saturday morning, February 9, 2019, in Florence, South Carolina.

Dennis was born in Saint George, South Carolina, to Timothy Lemuel and Birdie Sanders on August 1, 1948.  He grew up in the Round O area where he attended Galilee Baptist Church and the Colleton County Schools.  He loved the Lord, his family and friends.  He was married to Bettie Gulley and to that union one child was born.  He later married Mary Yarborough.

He worked as a supervisor for many construction companies and retired after 30 years.  After retiring, he continued to do construction work part time.  He later became a flea market vendor enthusiast on weekends.  He found that he enjoyed this hobby and continued until his death.  Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie G. Sanders and parents, Timothy and Birdie Sanders.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Yarborough Sanders; Tearease Nicole Sanders, Raleigh, NC; granddaughters, LaQuaysha Sanders, Diamond Jones, Charlotte, NC and Tiarria Jones, Bolton, NC; brothers, Jervey Sanders, Williston, SC and Larry Sanders, St. Albans, NY; sisters, Fannie (Oscar) Davis, Anderson, SC, Bernice Benjamin, Simpsonville, SC and Rosa (Harold) West, Columbia, SC; aunts, Beatrice J. (Henry) Peoples, Christine Primus, Myzine Guest, and Bernese Primus; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
