Mr. Dennis Gregory Pooser, son of the late Mr. John and Louise Pooser was born June 18, 1957 in Dorchester, South Carolina. On November 30, 2012, he transitioned from this life to eternal rest. He was educated in the public schools of Dorchester, South Carolina He was employed with Roger's Construction Company until his health failed. Dennis was a loving and compassionate person. It was his calling in life to help others. He especially had a special affection for the sick and elderly in his community. If there was ever a "true missionary", Dennis was one. He will truly be missed but he has fulfilled the purpose and plan that our Heavenly Father had for his life. Dennis was a lifelong member of Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church.

He met and married Patty Elaine Britt. This union produced one child who preceded him in death, Alexis Dominique Pooser. Dennis had 4 siblings to precede him in death, Mary Pooser, Allen Pooser Marion Pooser and Melvin Pooser.

Dennis leaves behind his devoted wife, Patty and son Fredrick Allen Buckson of Reevesville SC, a loving mother-in-law, Leavern Britt of Reevesville SC, three sisters, Ellen Washington, Gretta Brown (Harold) and Violetta Britt all of Harleyville, SC, two brothers, Kenneth and John Pooser of Harleyville, SC, one sister-in-law, Annette Baxter (Arnold) of Reevesville SC; 2 brothers-in- law, Thomas Miller of Bronx, New York and Antonal Britt (Vanessa) of Peoria, Arizona. A special nephew, Kendrick Pooser, friend Darius Williams and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Many special people were friends to Dennis during his illness. Much love to the Hopkins Family, especially (Ronald & Greg), the family of the late Mr. Virgil Boyd, and last but certainly not least Mr. Sam Kennerly. Sam went above and beyond in assisting with transportation to Greg's many doctors appointments and treatment. This was a great help to his wife. Friends are truly the family you choose.
