Deloris (Marion) Shuler was born on March 21, 1944 in Dorchester County to the late Catherine Owens and Edith Owens.  God opened His heavenly gates for her beautiful soul on Saturday, September 23, 2023.  She was given the name Marion because she was the sweetest soul and brought much joy to everyone she met.  Deloris attended Dorchester County Schools.  Deloris was a member of Bethel AME Church where she served on Steward Board # 3 and the Pastor's Aid Board.  She worked numerous jobs throughout her life.  She attended Tucker's Adult Health Day Care in Walterboro, SC where the staff was great.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents and one brother John W. Owens.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Jerilyn Keitt (Joe) Utsey of Grover, SC, Elizabeth (Gene) Lewis of St. George, SC, and Sharon Keith of Dominican Republic; one son, Kenneth (Whitney) Keitt of Atlanta, GA; caretakers, Paulette Walker and Gloria Britt both of St. George, SC; two special people, Katina Washington and Patricia Kelley; fourteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  A special thanks to Lucille's Place in Elloree, SC and the residents and staff along with Crystal Jefferson-Davis.  Thanks for what you all did to make my mother feel like family.
