The daughter of the late Lillie B. Gathers and Harry Gathers was born October 4, 1965 in Charleston, South Carolina.  She was the fifth of seven siblings.  She was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Charleston, South Carolina.

At an early age she joined Buckhead United Methodist Church.  She was educated at Ruffin High School in the graduating class of 1983.  She then furthered her education at Claflin University, majoring in Early Childhood Education.

Neicy was a very loving, caring jokester.  Riding her motorcycle and playing basketball were the loves of her life.

Neicy was employed with various jobs in Atlanta, GA.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Gregory Green; daughters, Miracle Gathers, Valerie R. Green and Queen Middleton (Albert); her father, Harry Gathers; her siblings, Harold Jenkins, Ronald Jenkins (Shirley), Gregory Gathers, Gerald Stephens (Barbara), Anthony Gathers (Pamela), Harry Gathers, Jr. (Tarsha), Doretha Grant (Robert), Tina Gathers (Kelvin), Shanda Belton (James), Pamela Aiken, Sherlyline Gathers, Monique Gathers, Domonique Gathers and Jumesha Gibbs; mother-in-law, Emma Q. Green; five sisters-in-law, Emma J. Green, Queen Green, Henretta Moorer, Teresha G. Waring (Joe) and Lula Bell Green; brothers-in-law, Thomas Green, Jr., Mitchell Green, James Lemon, William Branch (Vivian), and David Branch; three aunts, Daisy Gathers, Deloris Jenkins and Virginia Stephens; four step grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A special devoted aunt, Vivian McFadden.
