Obituary

Debra Ann Inabinett-Primus was born on March 7, 1957 to the late George and Oral Bell Inabinett.  Affectionately called Ms. Debra, fought a good fight and departed this life on September 25, 2021.  She is preceded in death by two sisters, Diane and Rasheeda.

She was a graduate of Harleyville-Ridgeville High School and went on to continue her education at Voorhees College.  She became employed as a special education teacher's aide in Dorchester District Four.  Ms. Debra retired from the district after twenty-three years.

Debra was a faithful member of Great St. Paul AME Church in Dorchester, SC, where she served on the Women's Missionary Society.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Richard Primus on April 25, 2003.  From this union, their son Eben Primus was born.

Debra was member of the Order of Eastern Star, Weldon Chapter #125 Harleyville, SC.  She enjoyed time with her family, cooking, attending softball games and keeping in touch with others through Facebook.  She was known for her kind heart and infectious smile.  It was truly a joy being in her presence.

Ms. Debra leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband, Richard Primus; her son, Eben Primus; a daughter-in-love, Salena Lary; three step sons; one step daughter; her step grandchildren; siblings, Tony (Keturah) Inabinett of Summerville, SC, Timothy (Angela) Inabinett of Norway, SC, Zetta Inabinett and Althea Inabinett both of Dorchester, SC and Denise Brown; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, two aunts, Lillian Johnson and Loretta Simmons; two uncles, Marion Simmons and Robert Simmons; a host of  loving nieces, nephews, extended relatives and beloved friends.
