This afternoon we pause to pay tribute to the memory of Deborah Riley Haynes. She answered God's call into eternal peace on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC, after an extended illness.
Deborah was born on February 7, 1959, in Dorchester County, the daughter of the late Frank and Nancy Segar Riley. She was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County.
Three brothers preceded her in death – Frank Riley, Jr., Louis Riley and Herman Riley.
Deborah was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Daniel and this union was blessed with two beautiful children.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Daniel Haynes of the home; a devoted daughter, Rowena S. Riley (Marvin) of Reevesville, SC; a dedicated son, Daniel R. Haynes of the home; one loving grandson, Little Keyonta Maquin Britt; four loving sisters, Daisy (Charlie) Green, Nancy (Harold) Hopkins, Rosetta (Allen) Cobbs, and Louise (Johnnie) Kelly all of St. George, SC; five brothers, James David Riley, Samuel Riley, Clarence Riley, Kelvin Riley all of St. George SC, and Joseph Riley of Jacksonville, Florida; her father-in-law, Sammie Haynes of Grover, SC; one brother-in-law, Sammie (Shirley) Haynes, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; one sister-in-law, Mildred Riley of St. George, SC; four aunts, Gustina Segar, Alma Boyd, Loretta Segar, and Catherine (Sylvester) Rolack all of St. George, SC; three uncles, Jimmy (Bertha Lee) Segar, David (Phillipine) Segar and Freddie Lee Moorer all of St. George, SC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
