Mr. Daniel L. White was called to rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 after an extended illness. He was born on June 23, 1953, to the late Wilimena Green Britt and Clay C. White. He was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church where he served on the kitchen committee. He was a very active member of the community and men's club.

He was employed by Monroe Furniture Store for more than thirty years until he retired.

Danny had one sister and two brothers who preceded him in death.

He leaves to continue his legacy: three children, Daniel M. Hankins (Aleiza) of Goose Creek, SC, Carolyn V. Hankins (Lydell) of Dorchester, SC and Daniel S. Kitt of Reevesville, SC; six sisters; one brother; eight grandchildren; two aunts; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
