Cyrus Williams passed into eternal rest on December 24, 2012 in Brooklyn, New York.

Cyrus was born June 24, 1943 to the union of the late Clemon and Tinee Addison Williams of Harleyville, SC. He received his education through Dorchester County Public Schools. At an early age he united himself with Elem Baptist Church, where he fellowshipped until he relocated to Brooklyn, New York.

Edward, Richard, Clemons, Jr. and Eugene Williams (Brothers) all preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters, Barbara W. Cain and Valerie Williams both of North Charleston, SC; one son, Verna (Janet) Smith of Alexandria, Virginia; two sisters, Martha W. James of Harleyville, SC and Mary (Willie) Dunnings of Brooklyn, NY; eight grandchildren, Salita, Priscilla, CeBraziah, Tierra, Ebony, Desiree, Murray and Verjell Williams; thirteen great grandchildren; a very special friend and caregiver, Mrs. Dorothy Vaughan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
