Cliford Lee Neals was born May 25, 1951, in Dorchester County to the late Mr. Olin and Mattie Neals. He was summoned home by God's angels on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at MUSC Hospital in Charleston, SC.
Clifford Lee was educated in the public schools of Harleyville, SC. Clifford Lee joined The Church of God For All People in Roisinville, SC. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years.
Clifford and his wife, longtime friend Linda Thompson met while attending church services, where her father preached. They became very much in love and married May 12, 2005 in Trinity Church in St. George, SC performed by Pastor John Elliott. They would have been married 10 years, May 2015.
Clifford was preceded in death by his son, John Bowman, one sister, Gloria Neals, and three brothers, Herbert Lee, Richard and Freddie Neals.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his devoted wife Linda Thompson Neals; live in son/step grandson, Shakeem Moultrie; eight children whom he loved so dearly, five daughters, Doreatha Martino, Dackairi (Ernest) Donaldson, Yina Bell, Kresaundra (Tony) Hill and Sharon Armstrong; three sons, Steve Perry, Clifford O'Neal, Jr., Jermaine O'Neal; 16 grandchildren; one great grand; one brother, Kenneth Neals of Harleyville, SC; three other devoted brothers, Jerome, Donald Wayne and Timothy Marchant; two sisters, Dora Ann Martino of St. George, SC and Florence Coleman of Sprinkle, NY; two other devoted sisters, Donna Jean Marchant and LJ Cutter; one aunt, Caroline Brown of Walterboro, SC; one devoted uncle, George Bryant; three devoted friends, Lester (Barbara) Williams, Vern Williams and Joe Louis Mack; a very special cousin, Peacola Banks; two step sons, Marcus and Shaun Simmons of St. George, SC; three brothers-in-law, Richard (Clay Francis) Thompson, Jr., Stevie Thompson and Darryl (Joanna) Thompson; very special niece, Peaches Martino; his adopted parents from Christ, he called Ma and Pastor, were; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
