Mr. Clifford Brown was born December 4, 1943, in Dorchester County, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late Deacon Isaac and Sister Esther Rasberry Brown.  He entered eternal rest on Friday, March 8, 2024 after a brief illness.

He attended the public schools of Dorchester County and was a member of White Stone Baptist Church.  He worked for the state of New York Transit Authority for several years before retiring and thus relocating to Savannah, Georgia.

Cliff enjoyed spending time with family and friends, learning and playing new electronic games and apps, driving, automobile repair and caring for his late parents.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted and faithful life partner, Selma Foster, of thirty-eight years of the home; his loving and caring sons, Carl Bernard Brown of Orangeburg, SC and Clifford Bryant Brown of Bronx, NY; two affectionate grandchildren, Jerelle Shivers of Columbia, SC and Bryanna Brown Hatch (John) of Atlanta, GA; a bonus daughter, Joyce Chisholm of Savannah, GA; a bonus granddaughter, Ashley Chisholm-Shellman of Atlanta, GA; two bonus great grandchildren, Braydon Chisholm and Chinyere Shellman both of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Ida Tanner of Browns Mill, NJ, Eartha Sewell (Marvin) of Atlanta, GA and Lorene Larkin (Ray) of Orangeburg, SC; a special sister-aunt, Emma Rhett of Columbia, SC; one brother-in-law, John Leory Hodges of Rowesville, SC; an aunt, Nancy Rasberry of Columbia, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy Holmes Brown and his sister, Lessie Brown Hodges both of Branchville, SC.
