Clay Frances Haynes was born to the late Perry Haynes and Flossie White, June 10, 1937 in St. George, South Carolina.  Clay was affectionately called "Nenie".

On Thursday, October 6, 2022, her earthly journey ended and our Lord and Savior summoned Clay Frances to eternal rest in the mist of our sorrow.  We rejoice for the many wonderful years we shared together and we do understand that God is to wise to make any mistakes.

During her early years of life, she attended Williams Memorial High School inDorchester       County, in St. George South Carolina, where she was a Majorette. In 1959, with her 2 children, she married her First Love, the late Levi "Buck" Adams of Harleyville, South Carolina. From this union five children were born. They later relocated to Miami, Florida in 1960.

Clay Frances attended Dorsey Skill Center and received a certification in Hospitality. This led her to be employed at Howard Johnson Hotel on Miami Beach, serving for 14 years; from 1975-1989. Later, Clay was hired by Miami Dade Public School System working as a Cafeteria Staff Member at Miami Central Sr. High from 1991-2002, where she retired.

Clay Frances spiritual relationship with God started as a member of Bethel AME Church in St. George, South Carolina.  Until her passing she was an active member of Greater Bethel AME Church of Miami, Florida.

Clay Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Haynes and Flossie White; sisters, Carolyn Norris, Myrth-Leese; one brother all of South Carolina; grandchildren, Lavoris Adams, Andre Robinson and James Adams; great grandson, Danny "Sire" Adams, Jr. and goddaughter, Felicia Laquanna Hill.

Clay Frances leaves fond memories to be cherished by her children: Flossie Haynes, Charles Haynes, Cendonia Adams, Belinda Adams, Herman Adams, Stephanie Adams and Pristeena Adams; 33 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; five godchildren, Nanette Ogburn, Regina Dansey, Troy Martin, Calvinaugh Alvin and Joseph Williams ;a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
